Anjou

There are two colours of Anjou pears: red and green.

One of the most commonly grown pears, Bartletts have a light green to yellow skin and remain this colour when ripe.

Bosc pears have a uniquely brown or russetted skin.

Comice pears are the sweetest and juiciest of the pear varieties.

Forelles are one of the most colourful pears.

Packham pears have a unique light green bumpy skin.

Seckel pears are the smallest of the pear varieties but they’re also the sweetest, which is why they are often called sugar pears.
